Scientific Officer

Indrani Das Sen joined Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education in 2006. She has obtained a doctoral degree in physical chemistry from Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai and like other members of the chemistry group, she is involved with the Chemistry Olympiad and NIUS programmes.
She is interested in developing experiments for undergraduate chemistry laboratory and the Olympiad programme along with developing theoretical problems in inorganic chemistry. She conducts teacher training workshops on experimental and theoretical chemistry (both at higher-secondary and undergraduate level) and student workshops. Has interest in using instrumental techniques for teaching and learning basic concepts in chemistry. She has been guiding projects in interfacial/inorganic chemistry.
