Vishal did his integrated masters in Chemistry from Sardar Vallavbhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT), Surat in 2019. He worked in R&D synthesis lab at Aarti Industries Limited (AIL) as a Research Executive till February 2022. He also worked as a business analyst in the same organisation before joining HBCSE. Since July 2022, he has been working at Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE, TIFR) and is involved with the Chemistry Olympiad program and National Initiative on Undergraduate Science program. He is more oriented towards organic and analytical domains of chemistry. He is interested in developing experiments for both higher secondary and undergraduate level students as well as teachers.
