Our work at the chemistry cell involves various activities related to teaching and learning of chemistry for students and teachers.
Most of these activities are conducted as part of Chemistry Olympiad and the National Initiative on Undergraduate Science (NIUS) program in chemistry.
The work extensively involves engagement with teachers and students in different capacities.
Chemistry education research involves to empirically analyse students’ difficulties and misconceptions in chemistry, Another area of work is to develop methods for effective learning of chemistry. We are also engaged in development of material in the form of books, and instructional aids in the area of chemistry.
